Session Length & Cost
Step into your therapy journey
Each session lasts 50 minutes, and we usually meet once a week at a time that works for you. Life can be unpredictable - if you need to cancel, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. When possible, I’ll offer an alternative time.
Finding your fit
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Our work will be tailored to your needs, and can be reviewed and adjusted as your journey unfolds. This may include short-term therapy (up to 12 weeks), medium-term therapy (up to 24 weeks) or longer-term work (over 24 weeks).
Fees
Each psychotherapy session costs £55. Payment is required via BACS no later than 24 hours before your appointment.

I also have some availability for online work on other days, which can be arranged individually to suit your needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
If you have questions that aren’t answered here, you’re very welcome to get in touch. I’m happy to clarify anything before your first session.
-
Our first session is a gentle starting point - a chance to get to know each other, talk about expectations, and explore what you are looking for from therapy.
If it feels right, we’ll agree together on what comes next. I’ll also check in regularly to make sure you feel supported as we work together.
-
No - you don’t need a plan or an agenda. Therapy is a space to explore whatever feels important to you in the moment, in your own time.
-
Every person’s journey is different, and so the length of therapy varies for each person. Some people benefit from short-term support, while others find ongoing sessions more helpful. Together, we’ll decide what works best for you and adjust as your needs change.
-
It’s natural to feel uncertain. An initial session can be a gentle way to see if this feels like a safe and supportive space for you. There’s no pressure - you’re free to explore, ask questions, and decide what feels right.
-
Yes. I offer online sessions through secure video platforms, which can be a flexible option if you’re unable to attend in person. You can choose whichever format feels most comfortable for you.
-
Everyone’s needs and experiences are different. The first few sessions are a chance to see whether this space and approach feels safe, supportive, and helpful for you. If at any point it doesn’t feel like the right fit, we can discuss next steps or explore other options together.
-
It’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure, especially at the start. You don’t need to have all the answers, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Therapy is a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
-
Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. We’ll go over standard notice periods and other practical details when we begin therapy, so everything feels clear and manageable.
